Book Description
The Mind's Machine, which was first published in 2012, was written with the intention of teaching students from a wide variety of academic fields the fundamental ideas of behavioral neuroscience. These fields include not only psychology and the other life sciences, but also art, philosophy, media studies, linguistics, and other similar subjects. The book was successful in engaging students who were new to neuroscience without compromising its accuracy by streamlining the text, including artwork in full color, incorporating innovative pedagogical features, and providing real-life examples and analogies.
The Mind's Machine was put to the test by both teachers and students, and it was shown to be approachable and reader-friendly, in addition to having an affordable price, and the second edition is not any different in this regard.
Consider utilizing this book in your classroom if you are going to be instructing students in the areas of brain and behavior, biopsychology, or physiological psychology.
